Jellyfin is a media server client that is used to stream Movies, TV Shows, and Music. Being a client, Jellyfin does not come loaded with any content, thereby it relies on a Jellyfin server instance to serve content to the client. On this page you'll find information on how to download Jellyfin on specific devices, link the app to b0bgurt's Jellyfin server instance, and start streaming content directly to your devices.
¶ What you need from me
Before setting up Jellyfin, you're going to need to make sure that you have obtained the following four items from me:
- Jellyfin Server Link (Watch Media)
- Jellyseerr Link (Request Media)
- Username (Works for both fin and seerr)
- Password (Works for both fin and seerr)

¶ How To Download / Where to Watch Jellyfin
Jellyfin can be used on any device, excluding some Smart TVs, following the methods listed below:

- Watch in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)

- Download the Jellyfin app from the Google Play store

- Download the Jellyfin app from the App Store

- Download the Jellyfin app from the Amazon app store on your TV

- Download the Jellyfin app from the Google app store on your TV

¶ First Time Setup

When you first open Jellyfin (App), you'll be greeted by a screen similar to the image below:

Here, you'll enter the entire server link that I gave you:

Following that, you should be greeted by a screen similar to the following prompting you to log in:

Here, login with the username and password that I provided you with.

After logging in, you should see a screen like the following:

Once you're here -- That's it! No more setup, feel free to browse around for and movies or TV series that you are interested in and watch away!
¶ Woah, what's this Music section in Jellyfin?
Jellyfin can also play any music that is on the server that it is running on. Event though there is music on Jellyfin, Jellyseerr is still working on implementing the ability to request music. So at the moment, the only music on Jellyfin is music that I have put on there manually from my own library.
